Pre and Post Event Functions:
This year the Dwellingup 100 MTB Classic will also have pre and post event functions. These functions will be run by members of the Dwellingup Community.
Dwellingup Power Pasta Night
The Dwellingup Cafe' will be creating a special pasta menu for the D100 participants to feast on the night before the event. Dinner will be available from 6pm at the Cafe' and served to approximately 7.30pm.

Make sure you support the community that supports your love for mountain biking - take the family have a scrumptious carb loading meal at the Dwellingup Cafe' before you take on the Dwellingup 100 MTB Classic!
Dwellingup Bush Dance After Party
Organised by a number of groups from the Dwellingup Community, our Bush Dance after party will be a great way to join up with mates and relive the day that was! Ticket costs will include a meal and entertainment from the local music group 'Baga Beans'. The footy club will be providing bar facilities.
This after party is about the Dwellingup Community getting involved in the mountain biking event that brings so many visitors to the area. Please join us in celebrating what we hope is another successful event and supporting the Dwellingup Community.
Costs:
$25 per person - including entry and buffet meal (Roast Meat, Roast Vegetables, Fried Rice, Salads, Vegetarian Option and Dinner Roll)
Bar Facilities available at the venue.
Reconnaissance Day:
On Sunday 21st August 2011 Tony Tucknott will be hosting a Reconnaissance Day for those wishing to tackle the 100km event.
Tony and his team will take the group out on to the 60km loop of the 100km Classic course to give riders a first time look at the course (including changes from less road to more single and fire track).
The ride will last from between 2 1/2 hrs to 3hrs; all riders who enter will receive lunch (included in the entry price) served by the Dwellingup Cafe`. The lunch menu available for that day will include three options:
Option #1 - Vegetable Minestrone Soup with Risoni Pasta and Parmesan, Crusty Bread Roll and Butter
Option #2 - Split Pea and Ham Soup, Crusty Bread Roll and Butter
Option #3 - Seeded Mustard and Rosemary Roast Beef Onion and Gravy Roll
All options will include either Tea, Coffee or Can of Soft Drink (Cans of Soft Drink will be handed to participants once they order the meal)
Additional food may be purchased at the Cafe`on the day - normal menu prices apply.
The day is limited to 120 riders and details are as follows:

Cost: $20 per person (lunch included) - riders who are not members of MTBA must take out a Social Ride Day License which will cost $5.
Approx Finish Time: 11.30am - lunch will be served in the Dwellingup Cafe` from 11.30am to 2.00pm

Dwellingup Dirt Crit
To add some excitement and atmosphere to the Friday night we are staging three short course Dwellingup Dirt Crits. The three classes will be Open Men (18-35yrs), Distinguished Men (36yrs+) and Women's.
Course Maps will be available on 'The Course' page shortly and participants can event via their online entry for the Dwellingup 100 event.
Dwellingup 100 Classic
- Minimum Entry Age is 18.
- Open male & female = 18 to 29
- Vets = 30-39
- Masters male & female = 40 to 49
- Seniors male & female = 50 to 59
- Super Master male & female = 60+
Dwellingup Team Relay
This year we are offering participants the opportunity to complete the 100km in teams of two. Team member one will complete the first 40km loop; then return to Dwellingup Football Oval and pass over the team wrist band to team member two who will then complete the 60km loop of the course. Times will be combine to reach the overall winning team.
Dwellingup 40 (40km)
- Under 15 male and female riders by special invitation or permission only
- Under 17 male & female
- Under 19 male and female
- Open male & female = 19 to 39
- Masters male & female = 40 to 59
- Super Masters male & female = 60+
Forces Challenge
The 'Forces Challenge' is a new category aimed to get the team spirit up and riding!
The Forces Challenge is aimed at mountain bikers who work within the 'forces' industry = Police, Fire Department, SAS, Army, Navy, Air Force etc. They will compete in teams of four completing the Dwellingup 40 race. The team with the lowest combined time will win the D100 Forces Challenge Perpetual Trophy.
Notes:
- All team members must work for the same organisation, however they do not need to work in the same department. eg. Team could be made up of Administration Staff, Field Officers or Management.
- Teams can be made up of males, females or a combination
- Teams may have one DNF rider to still qualify for the overall prize; the DNF rider will be given a time of 4hrs and DNF marked next to their name
Individual participants within each team may, if they wish, complete the Dwellingup 100 Classic. To do so, those individuals will be required to pay a 'top up' fee (by completing the form at the bottom of this page). Individuals who do nominate to ride the 100km will be asked to start in the 100km start group (to allow maximum time to complete the full course) - the 40km split time will go toward the team time also.
The D14
- No categories for the D14, although you must be 8 years of age or older to ride it. The D14 is not a race therefore it will not be timed.
D14 Schools XC MTB Championship
The 2011 Schools XC MTB Challenge will take on 14km of Dwellingup's great mountain bike track. The event will start at the Dwellingup Football oval completing one lap before heading north of Dwellingup to ride the great Marrinup and Munda Biddi trails.
Three categories will be available for both boys and girls:
18's & Under
16's & Under
14's & Under
There will also be a team prize for the school placing the highest overall.
